What goes into a great bathroom

A bathroom is the most plumbing-and-tile-intensive room in your house. The details have to be right, or they fail in a year. Here's what we get right.

Tile and Stone

Large-format porcelain, marble slabs, hand-set mosaics, checkerboard floors. Waterproofing under everything, done by code.

Plumbing and Fixtures

How a bathroom remodel actually goes.

From first sketch to final walkthrough, here's exactly what to expect when you work with us.

01

Free consultation

We come look at the space, the plumbing layout, and the conditions behind the walls, then talk through what's possible at your budget.

02

Selections and design

Tile shop visits, fixture spec, vanity drawings. We mock it up in 3D so you see exactly how it will feel.

03

Permits and order

Long-lead items (vanities, custom tile, fixtures) ordered first. We don't start demo until materials are on-site.

04

Demo and rough-in

Demo, plumbing rough-in, electrical, hot mop or membrane waterproofing. Inspections at every stage.

05

Tile, finish and reveal

Tile setting, vanity install, fixtures, paint, glass shower enclosure. Final walkthrough, deep clean, you move back in.

Yes. We're licensed (#988824) for everything we list in our services. We carry general liability insurance, workers compensation, and commercial auto.
What's your service area? +
We service the greater Los Angeles area. The vast majority of our projects are in the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, Eagle Rock, Santa Monica, Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, Altadena, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Venice, and all surrounding areas.
How long have you been in business? +
AtoZ Construction Inc. has been founded for over 10 years. Rami, the owner, has been in construction for over 30 years. It's his passion to see the smile on our customers' faces when the project is complete and the space is fully transformed.
Are you really a family-owned business? +
Yes. The owner is Rami Zilberberg, a general contractor for 30+ years. His son Zack joined the company about 5 years ago, and they manage every aspect of the business together. Both Rami and Zack will be on the job site every day, communicating with each other and with you.
Do you use sub-contractors? +
We have our own team of employees for every trade. We rarely use sub-contractors, and when we do, they're people we've worked with for 10+ years.
How fast can you come out for a consultation? +
Our goal is to be on-site for a free consultation either the next day or within 72 hours, depending on geographic location. The meeting usually takes 45 minutes to an hour. We bring samples, an iPad with project photos, and the answers to all your questions.
Do you offer financing? +
Yes. We partner with HFS Financial for credit-based loans. We can also help with secured loans like HELOC, refinance, and reverse mortgage options. Pre-qualify here →
How does payment work? +
We charge an initial deposit of no more than $1,000. After that, the project is broken into stage payments per task, for example, payment after demolition, payment after rough electrical, etc. Payments can be made via check, Zelle, cash, or credit card.
What if you find unexpected issues mid-project? +
With any remodel, you can't see everything until walls are open. We over-communicate every exception we find, involve you in the solution, and discuss any change before taking action, agreed upon by you in writing first.
